My 1991 s10 blazer is weaving while driving down the road.. I have to constantly keep turning the wheel to keep her going straight.. And the steering is pretty loose too... So... How do I check for worn out parts? I had my GF turn the wheel while I checked out all the linkage underneith, and I didn't notice anything that was real sloppy... But there is something obviously wrong with the steering..
1. How do I check for gear box play?
2. How do I check for worn out ball joints?
3. How do I check for worn out hub/bearings?
Its got 168k miles on it. Apparently everything on this thing is original (not a good thing!)
This is the same S10 that I just replaced the 4.3l engine on... Its running ok, just doesn't drive all that nice yet :(
