I know its been a while since i've been on here, So first thing to say is whats up everyone. Anyway I bought a 96 Cavalier for gas saving reasons. But when I drive for a while, about 30-50 miles, my oil light comes on only when I stop. My oil level is good. Oil was just changed 2 days ago. Anyone know what the problem may be? Thanks.

That's a tough question to answer. I had a Cutlass which was doing the same thing that I had decided I was just going to drive until it quit and it ran another 60,000 miles. With low oil pressure though, eventually something is going to start knocking so who know how long it will go before it burns up ? Since it's already got 156,000 on it, I would guess sooner than later before it spins a rod bearing. Wish I had a better answer for you.
