I'm not sure what the model description is on the 96 as I don't believe they labeled it as the S10 Blazer that year?? Anyway, we are looking for one for my son and have located a possibility near by. What is the current market on these units? Is it much like other SUV's and 4x4's - selling price is generally lower than the KBB or NADA book? I've not seen this unit but from description for owner - elderly gentleman - it sounds to be in excellent condition. Mileage is somewhere in the 60,000 range! Anyway, just looking for some pricing help. This would be a 4 door that sounds like it's pretty much fully loaded with options.
Thanks!

I would have to say probably around the 6-7 thousand range.

I'd actually say it would be closer to the $4k-5k range due to its age. Its already a 10yr old vehicle. What does KBB show for it. Gauge from there.
Just for comparison's sake, I paid $7,500 for my fully loaded 2000 Bravada 2 years ago with 72k miles on it.

I just bought a 1996 Chevy Blazer,4-door,4 wheel drive. Everything is great interior and exterior. It has 175k on it and I only paid $1,500.00 for it.

Well, I'm going to have to look elsewhere! I spoke to the gentleman this weekend and he was advised by a couple of dealers in his community - one indicated $8000, which he considered way too much, and the other said $7000!! That's still about $3000 more than I was willing to spend! He's a really nice, older gentleman so I don't want to offend him by offering so much less. Who knows - with the condition of the vehicle, the mileage, etc - he may get close to that. But for me and this being a first vehicle for my son, I can't pay that much. It's still an 11 year old vehicle!!
