Hey Guys,

First time poster here, looks like you guys have things down pat here. Great forums!

Anyhow, my mother owns a 1996 Chevy Blazer and she loves it. Unfortunately, the upper brake light that is on the hatch on the back of the car recently went out. Now, I do a good amount of work on my Cadillac Seville so I took a quick look at the light fixture and I noticed the two screws at the top. I poped those out and got as far as pulling the LED light strip about halfway out when I realized that there was nowhere to disconnect the power cord from. So my question is, How do I disconnect the third brake light from the car? I guess this has been discussed here before but I'll be damned if I can find the answer, so I apologize if I've missed it, but if one of you could help me out here that'd be great.

Thanks a lot,
Marc

there is a disconnect.  If you've got a new lamp look at it.  You may have to pop down the plastic roof panel that houses the rear cargo light to reveal it but it's there! good luck-later jp
