On a dead short in pwr dr lock system on 97 blaze. The power accessory circuit breaker A keeps tripping. Anything common, can anyone tell me where splice S263 is. THanks

Start by disconnecting the RKE module (should be above the driver side hush panel under the dash). If that stops the circuit breaker from tripping, you have a faulty module.

Thanks for the reply. According to the information I am using, the krm is powered up by courtesy fuse #2 not circuit breaker A. Is my source wrong? I tried disconnecting the keyless remote entry module and the short was still present. From the information I have I started disconnecting everything on the circuit breaker A. Door lock switches, door lock relay, left seat motor and left seat lumbar support. With the connector for the lumbar support underneath the drivers seat disconnected the short was gone. I am gathering to fix this short the seat has to be removed? Thank you

Sorry, yes, you are correct. For some reason the schematic I pulled up was for a 98 instead of a 97. If you have found the source of the short, then you need to focus on the lumbar support. It is likely that a wire has rubbed through under the seat and is shorting to the seat frame. To make sure that your problem is in this part of the circuit, try plugging everything else back in. If the circuit breaker still holds closed, then you have found the source of the issue.
In order to narrow it down further, you will likely have to remove the seat.

Yeah its definetly in the lumbar switch circuit. I will pull the seat out this week and have a look
