The NTHS has a complaint and Technical Service Bulletin about the hot air from the vents when the HVAC is in the OFF position. I had a complete new A/C installed and then put in a new battery and the hot air started! The mechanic at Goodyear said that maybe the change of battery caused it, right? Seriously!! I have NO A/C (live in Texas) no matter what I set it on it just blows HOT air. So, I went to the local Chevy dealer and he dummied up on me and said he didn't know anything about the TSB. My local mechanic says for $45 an hour they will take the dash apart and try to find the problem, right? The heat is KILLING me and there must be someone who knows what the cause is.
