I was just wondering why so many of you own the 4 door version. I myself like the 2 door a lot more. Is there something I don't know, or is it personal preference. I was thinking about it when I was supposed to be working.

i beleive it is just personal preference.  I have a 2dr, and I have no kids, so i dont really need a 4 d.

I like both, but 4 dr is better when going out with friends. I never have to move any seats. Plus the extra room helps out alot.

That would be a good reason, we don't do that though. My friends have Trans Ams so we all go places in our own cars. It's stupid, but it looks cool with two TA's flanking my Blazer.

i like them both but i have a 4dr and i have to say it's more convient cause then friends can get in easier, i dunno i see way more 4drs on the road than 2drs.

4dr for me simply because of my son and soon to be son.  Car seats in the back of a 2dr would be a pain!  Especially the infant seat/carrier.  Plus there is more room inside of a 4door with the seats down for hauling around things like lumber and such.

I love my 4 door

I can lay down the back seats and do what I do

that's the dilema I am facing with getting a new truck....I don't want to give up my 4 doors...I never carry passengers...(you can tell from all the junk in the front seat) the seats are never in the up right position...in fact I am missing half the back seat at the moment as I am trying to dry out my carpets.....I have no kids....I love the 4 doors...because I just open the door and grab what I want....go to the thrift store...buy a couch..and slide that baby right in....besides it helps with my filing system...things I kind of need fast are in the back area...things that don't need to be removed go all the way to the back...I don't know if I can give up the ease of 4 doors.....

Me + 2 kids + 2 dogs + grocery shopping on Saturday morning = 4 DOORS!      Besides, that's what cars are for :P

You think that's bad?  How bout 3 kids (myself included) + 2 parents + 5 Boston Terriers + a full cargo area of luggage and coolers + 3 hour trip to MD almost every weekend = 4 doors.  Now that's tough.

I have 4 doors because thats what I wanted.  I like the looks better (normally I like 2 doors) and I like to be able to just open a door you can carry friends without haveing to fold down a seat.  I dont know if this is for sure but I like to have cargo space.  And more room to do "stuff" in the back.

Well since autotrader screwed me, my car still isn't sold, nor is it on the market, but i'll definately be getting into a 4 door, i'm really getting anxious, I really want a blazer :(. I'd like a ZR2 but I need 4 doors for cargo room and hauling friends around, and I like the look of the 4 door better, i'd love to see a 4 door Zr2 though...

you guys are naughty!!! you can't do that in my blazer....you'd get a canoe paddle some place interesting......by the way...I never put doors into consideration when I bought my blazer....more about what I can out on top with out using a step ladder and interior storage space...

I like my 2 door although with a car seat in the back and a 15 month old that I have to put in there, SOMETIMES I wish I had a four door. Although when I was lookin for a Blazer I knew nothing of the ZR2's I always thought they were just a decal. Now if i knew any better at that time that is what is what would be in my parking space. LOL

Ah...many of you have families. I didn't really think about that. I only have me to worry about. If I need things moved, I have friends with big trucks.
