Hey, I don't have a Blazer but my girlfriend does and she mentioned how she would like to have a an exhaust put on for her birthday. I know a good exhaust shop in my area to do it. Here's my question, how big is the exhaust piping on the Blazer since I'm going to get a Flowmaster 40 muffler for her? Also, will there be any problem with just cutting out the old piping and putting the new muffler in there or will a whole new setup need to be fabbed up?
Thanks for your help guys

naw, you can just swap the muffler. if a good muffler shop is doing it, then they will be able to make it fit with reducers.

its 2.5 and flowmaster is not the best muffler. i say go with a ravin z55. its a bit louder and more free flowing. ive been asked if i have a v8 under the hood.

i got a 40 series put on mine, its 2.5 in and 2.5 out. i was gonna dual it out but the spare tire prevented that and yeah they used the same piping and i think they added a little. cost about 40 bucks. mine sounds good im happy.
