2000 blazer died

  2000 s10 blazer 2 door 4x4 4.3  Drove to work yesterday and noticed that it would almost stall while driving down the highway then rev up to normal rpms.  Would not idle either at times.  Started it up at the end of the day and it ran fine.  I drove it 62 miles home ran great all the way.  Then this morning on my way to work after about 20 miles it started acting up again.  Would lose power almost die then run good.  Letr it sit a few minute it would start and go maybe a few miles.  Then it dies and i tried for about 10 minutes to get it started.   So there it sits on the side of the highway.  I am almost positive the fuel pressure is good the pump was replaced in the spring. I stuck a screw driver in the schrader valve and it shot fuel all over the fire wall, just like it did when i put the new pump in.   Coil maybe??????????  thanks  Rob
