2000 JIMMY rattle/noise at idle

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM # OF CHARACTERS FOR A POST??? this is the 3rd time I LOST my whole message because it wont go through.

I have 2000 JIMMY slt, 4x4, 4dr, auto, 107kmiles.
 
rattle from drivers side of engine compartment at idle (550rpm) when under load (in gear or A/c on in park). Cant pinpoint location of noise under hood due to all of the other noise, noise is only really audible in the cabin.
 
Any ideas?

is it a rattle or more of a ticking.

it is more of a rattle, I replace the PCV valve today and the sound still exists, so that is one possibility eliminated. 

I have the same thing. At idle, in gear, with ac on. It sounds like it is coming from the drivers side speaker but it is surely not. It is something with more mass. I have tried to locate it for a few years now!
