my buddy ryan was driving friday night and had headlights and later this evening we were riding back to his house and noticed that the headlights wernt on. so we checked the normal stuff all the fuses and used a DMM to see if the headlight bulbs were getting power nothing. i switched out my headlamp relay out for his and we even took my headlight switch from mine and still no lights. found the ground on right side and cleaned it up. his has the automatic sensor to switch from daytime lights to night could that sensor be bad, and were is it located. in the crowle? any help would be great he has to work tomorrow and gets off at night hopeing to fix so he can drive to work. thanks mario

No, the relay is 4 prongs just for the lights...

Ground, Power in, Power out, and trip.

Even if that sensor is bad, you could still turn the lights on manually with the switch.

Do the parking lights come on?
