AAARRGGHH hood cable broke HELP

had the hood up and down so many times on this POS 95 S15 Jimmy that the latch cable broke today when i tried to open hood to install a new spider, hoping that fixes my rough idle problem.
 
Anybody know easy way to get hood open so I can fix it?

Actually i know how to fix that. Pop off your front grille by pulling it towards you (give a good tug, its held on with metal clips). Look where the latch is and you will see 2 bolts that hold the latch in place. If you can get to them (they are both 13mm btw) take those out and the latch will come up with the hood itself. To release the latch just pull on the release lever and it just comes right off.
