aah.. nothing like a little accident to start your day...

Ugh!!!! I really didnt have much to do today. Just go pick up something from a store and fix a computer for some side money... and instead what happened? I left my place, pulled out of the development, made a left hand turn and SLAM! Some guy in a Toyota pickup stopped short on the ice and with my ABS being bad and kicking in with every braking... i just went right into the back of him. He had near to no damage, literally. He even just let me go. He didnt even want my information!

But me... heh.. lets see, I now need two corner lights, a front grill, one headlight, and a front bumper. UGH!

yeah I'm fine, just aggravated. I was trying to save up the $700 to get the ABS fixed (pass side hub bearing) and now I have to find parts to repair the nose of my car and god knows what damage is behind that making the stuff not want to stay on.

unbelieveable.... Yeah I'll get some pics up. Just going outside with Duct tape to make the lights at least stay in place so I can drive it, or else they will just be dangling there...

well, are you at least ok?????? My mom always says, if it can be fixed with Time or Money, no sense worrying about it.  Sorry to hear about it Dory .

Sorry to hear about that Dory.   Luckily you're ok.  Ebay's a wonderful thing!  

At least the important part is intact and not damaged, YOU.
But like you said, it's a pain and who needs that sort of a day. Just find some duct tape the same color as the truck and you're laughin'.

I used duct tape to make a window on my girl when I borke the window out to get my keys...no shame!!! glad you are ok Dory..but it sucks anyways you look at it!

Hub bearing should be no more than $150.00 unless you are having a mech install it.

well as the day went on i got stiff, so now im sitting here with a few black and blues and very stiff. and unable to sleep because i feel rather lousy. sigh...

im going to have to start searching around for parts. i'll do that tomorrow. i cant leave it like that, i'll get pulled over for lack of lights in the nose. :(

I guess I'll be taking that into the bodyshop for repairs next week.
I haven't seen his car yet, but he's like me with his cars, we seem to get emotionally attatched to them.

Believe it out not parts for the front clip are pretty cheap. That whole front metal bumper only costed me i believe 80 dollars and the valence with 36 which i painted myself. The lights might only be your expensive part.

I know how it feels.  I just got done paying some crap off then Ol' Murphy came knocking.  I hit a mail box and now need a new hood. Then last week my computer took a ****t and I do a lot of business on my computer so I cant be without one.  So I guess my hood is going to have to wait a while.  But on the good side I get to work with Vista now, I was looking forward to this since I watch a siminar on it a year ago.

ok so there.. i bought those lights... a set of four, not too bad. As for a grille, I'm open to suggestions... HELP!!!!

I also want an emblem.. maybe the matt finished silver one? anyone know where to get it?
