Add yet ANOTHER ticket to my life...

Yup Barbara in Colorado, the one with three tickets back to back-------- well now you can add another one to that mess and guess what, this one ALSO has the same court date as 2 of my other tickets March 23, so now I get to jump 3 cities! 8:30am Denver get a break then off to Littleton for a 4:30 pm showing, then PRAY I get out of that one in time to race to Sheridan for a 6:00 pm showing.... I have to face the facts that I am going to be one broke bitch between my insurance company having heart failure with all these hitting back to back and the points agaist me, and I may not be driving much longer.
I still say when I drive there has to be a grey cloud right above me with a arrow pointing down--------- PULL ME OVER I LOVE IT

well that sucks how much over the speed limit were u going. did u downshift to slow down or hit the brakes and did u mouth off to the cop. the only reason is im going to become a cop after highscool and i know quite a bit about cops and what they look for im in a program that i go on alot of ride alongs

(mind you, I work with most cops and drink with them too.....with my job as a paramedic)
the one question that has always aluded me it this:

ok so why do cops walk up to you.....ask you how fast you were going....and then say....."well you know you were speeding"???????
then there's this long awkward pause...as you stare back at him......I don't get that...it's rediculous!!!!! so why do they do that?? last time I got asked..I just shrugged my shoulders....and looked back at him......


oh and man you gotta watch that speed limit!! I have a lead foot...but hoely crap!! you are unlucky......good luck with the court dates

that really sucks, was this one for speeding also? ever think of getting a radar detector?? or just keep your foot of the accelerator.

I know I know I bring this on myself, I have a very heavy foot. One ticket was for 31 in a 20, second one was 70 in a 55, thrid was for my very expired temp tags, (was waiting for tax return so i could afford the 560.00 plates) and last one started out as a speeding, 39 in a 30 but I made a valid point to the cop, when you turn right at the light you see down a little ways a speed limit sign for 35 he says it was 30 right at the begining then jumps to 35, well I SWEAR I never knew or did I ever notice a sign posted for 30. So we walk down, he points out the 30 mile an hour and I point out to him, hold on wait now, walk back to the corner and LOOK down the street, the 35 MPH sign is closer to the pavment, this one is father back, so it's kinda hard to notice THIS one when the other one is in better veiw and pops out at you. He looks and agreed with me!!!! So I didnt get a speeding ticket BUT I did get one for no seat belt. They have since moved the 35 MPH down a bit and pulled the 30 MPH closer to the pavement.
Everyone tells me I get nailed alot because my blazer is RED, that could be part of it, but I do drive fast too. But yesterday I was driving- and I was NOT speeding, HAD my sealbelt on, and USED my turn signal, well guess what, a cops flips a bitch and motions me to pull over.... I am thinking OH **** THIS ****.... I look at him, he is smiling, until he sees my face that is.. He asks everything alright? I was like what did I do NOW?? He laughs and says Oh we thought your plates was expired but we see they are not, so have a nice day and walks away. I'm like this is it HAS to be the color..... My daughter looked on line and found that in fact RED vechiles do seem to get more tickets, and they also seem to have more incidents.... So when I get the money, first thing ( after paying all these tickets ) I am getting her painted, dark blue or that deep dark green color.. ANYTHING BUT RED!!!!!

I would have to agree withthat. I have also read studies about vehicle colour in relation to police stops. It's also true that two identical cars except one is red and one is black could be speeding, and the red one will get pulled over first.

If I remember correctly, the muted colors, like Silver or Beige get nailed the less. they just give off that aura of not being sporty or fast..... you know, the grandma grandpa colors.

thats true the number one color to get pulled over is red and yellow is close behind also a color that u wouldnt expect that gets pulled over alot is black for some reason i dont see why this is but yea silver gets pulled over the least and white and beige are good 2

I believe white is bad..but I keep buying it...
I had a white chevy 2500
then a white 95 blazer
now a white 97 blazer....next..anything but white..just bad luck for me.

Anyways....My husband reports to me that our local paper recently reported that most accidents and tickets are women. I'll even admit to that.

I'm a Gemini and he's a Capicorn.

Gemini are drivers with the most accidents. I'm a woman and a gemini...double whammy.
they say, geminis are usually late and always in a rush...as for me this is very true....

Capicorn are reported the best drivers. This is true for my husband, no accidents or tickets.... What a sissy!!! shh i didn't say that.

So to any women or geminis or both...get in your car and say at least five times.....I'm a capicorn today. HEHE

well get a white one....no one sees you......get one of those "I support the cops stickers" or better yet get a star of life in your rear window....they don't tend to write up ambulance people...because we take their headaches away....(little professional courtesy there)
also try using your cruise control more often....it works for me.....
oh and don't put a pot leaf sticker in your window....that's a known fact you will get pulled over....
oh and don't let your roof rack extend out past "the body of your vehicle" or some rookie bored ass cop will pull you over and give you a written warning.....well that's only in detroit...cause they don't know what a roof rack is......

lol that was my dads idea.......I just get lucky and end up knowing most state and local cops due to my job....but mostly.....I jus try not to speed...hard to get a company to hire you when you have tickets.....plus for the most part I have found...honesty and a good attitude goes a long way.......

OK I got to bite here what do they say about Leo's ( that's my youngest daughter) and Sag's? That's me....

I can't figure out what is wrong with my "Question Authority" sticker or my rainbow colored Grateful Dead bears? The "LSD what a long strange trip it's been" sticker doesn't help either. They just call me on my cell phone and ask me to pull over.

Alright so I don't really have those stickers on my car, I know you guys went to my photo gallery to check it out. But we do have to be careful of what we advertise. I always get stickers for both Sheriff candidates, then put on the winner's sticker after the election.

I did get pulled over in my red truck, but haven't in my pweter Blazer. Of course I drive like an old fart, which doesn't have anything to do with the fact that I am an old fart.

I have found that having cruse controle keeps me out of trouble. get cruise controle installed.

Hmm.... I wonder if Virgo's are listed as good drivers.... because I have only ever gotten one speeding ticket in my life, back in 98 for going 74 in a 65.

only 9 over and they gave u a ticket i would be pissed i go alot faster on the highway usually 10 over sometimes more like 15, 20, 25 or even close to 30 over rarely though. but shhhh we wont talk about that hahah never beeen pulled over though

What did you loose your license for? I lost mine when I was 18(only for 1 mth) for 2 many tickets, and I almost lost it for 2 many tickets about a 5 mths ago, but the states attourny lied to the judge for me, said I haddent had a ticket in almost 1yr. hahaha try 3 mths before that.
