Does any of the aftermarket companies make aftermarket suspension kits for 98 Chevy blazers or is their some other source to get better than origional suspension parts?  I need to upgrade my blazer as I am not happy with the origional handling of stock equipment.  I had a 1 1/2 ton 72 GMC truck that had a nicer ride and better handling, so something has to be possible.

Is yours a 2wd or 4wd and what do you want to do go lifted or lowered???

It is a 4WD.  As far as lowering it or raising it, I would lower or raise it only if it improved the ride!  Otherwise I am happy with the where it sits now.

Lowering it reduces the center of gravity creating better handling and you can acheive a better ride as well!!  What I would do is crank down the torsion bars in the front and go to autozone or any local part store and get a tapered drop block to maintain pinion angle. You probably don't want to slam it so I would go with a 3 inch tapered drop block in the rear and crank the torsions down to level it after you lower the rear!!
