I have a 2001 blazer and I'm gonna change the air filter on it, any suggestion on the best type overall, or best one for the money. Thanks for your input.

If you're just replacing the filter, go with AEM dryflow.

My suggestion is a K and N air filter I had one on mine before I switched to a C.A.I.!!

Where can I find just the dryflow filter, all I can manage to find is the filter with the cold air intake online, can you get just th filter and what does it cost?

If your looking for a replacement drop-in air filter your options are K&N, Fram Air Hog, AEM...

I would stay with one that doesn't need to be oiled. The K&N's are great, but it's really easy to over-oil them and contaminate your MAF sensor. I use a K&N in my bike, but while I was cleaning my MAF sensor the other day, I replaced the K&N in my truck with the Fram Extra-Life filter. I'm sure it's a little more restrictive, but it's not really noticeable on a stock truck.

Not really sure what to do yet, I have a K & N in one of my trucks, and they are a bit expensive, but seem ok, but also don't know if it wil effect my MAF sensor. Guess I would like to try a different one, the 2001 has a brand new MAF sensor in it.  Guess I'm still on the fence, but guess I will come up with something.
