Am I the only one who should be upset

My nephew(10) was looking in the stylin concepts magazine and saw the shorty antenna and suggested I should get one. I said look up prices and see designs on the web site and call me (I was cutting down weeds near the porch.) I screen printed the 2 different style descriptions. Please add your thoughts

Well now!! I'd never would buy one of those...how dumb!

How could you go wrong with either...?  I mean, with names like Schlong styled and Ribbed styled...  LOL

In all seriousness, I have known people that had problems with reception with some of these "euro" style antennas...

im not a guy who wants to be knows as buying a schlong.  do you?

I have a stubbie 21" billet antenna.  Not the Schlong!!! ROTFL  You can see it pretty good in this picture:
 
I have better reception with this antenna than with the stock. I'm picking up 96.5 "THE DRIVE" now!

I just took the stock one off and repainted it with some black Hammered look paint, cant remember the manufacturers name. Yeah those are some weird names for antennas, and I would never buy either of them.

hmmmmm didn't even know something like that existed......I have my stock twisted antenea....as someone one night decided to bend it in squares....jerks...

Hmmm...porn antenna's? Interesting!

I won't have that problem as my antenna is built into the windshield.
About a year ago I made an antenna into a fishing rod and thought about installing it as a joke, fishing is my passion.

I have an APC billet antennea from Advance Auto Parts. It was on clearance for 11 bucks. It's shorter than the stock one.

i dunno... i might want to put a stubby ribbed schlong antenna on my blazer....

I took the antenna off the Z, pulled the ball off the top, cut it down to about 13" long with a cut off wheel, then hammared the ball back on top.  I wouldn't buy any antenna when I can do it for free and in about 8 minutes.  I plan to do the same with the Blazer once I get my Sirius tuner out of the car and into the blazer.

did it till work as good as before? that ounds like a good idea if so

I noticed no diffrence when I have checked over, but I have had Sirius since 04 and haven't had a single FM station programmed on the HU since.

if you guys havent seen them yet they also have valve stem caps with the same name......look under their clearance section...

I went to checker auto parts and bought my billet antenna for 12 bucks and it has even better reception then my factory one did!!

I don't know, you get the Schlong one and it could be a great pick up line.
