American Gladiator

Did anyone watch it last night? I watch only about the firtst 10 minutes and i thought it wasnt as good as the original one that i remember from when i was little. it reminded me alot like MXC on spike tv. what is everyones opinion of it?

Nothing like the orginal!

They made the baskets too big in that one game! people can just shoot jump shots all day!

And the interviews every 3 minutes really is useless....
and the sportsmanship has gone out the window since the orginal!

Horrible!

MXC is one of the most inspiring shows on television.

Some of the girls are way hotter.

I thought it was okay, nothing like the original at all. More of a showmanship spectacle now than a all out game. Too many interviews and talking segments. Couldv'e doon without that completely. The gladiators were too stuck up and the contestants sounded liked they had rehearsed their lines before they wree interviewed. I will still watch it cause it is American Gladiators and I grew up on the original Gladiators. I hope they still have the game with the giant hamster balls, forgot the name.

On a sad note, I feel really bad for the girl who got hurt in the first game. That is exactly what happened to me a few years ago playing basketball, and it hurts like hell. I planted my left foot and all my weight went to that leg and my knee buckeled and I couldn't walk for a couple days and my knee swelled to the size of a softball. I hope noone else gets hurt like that. I always hate to see that.

I haven't seen any of the new gladiator show I am too used to the original. When I do get the opportunity to see it I really hope its not a dissapointment like some of you say it is.

Forgot it was coming on.  I loved the original so I know this one will be a disappointment.

Not as good as the original but still fun

I'm a little young to have seen the original... and I've missed the new one so far! I'm gonna set the DVR to track it down.  I saw one of the originals on ESPN classic a few months ago.
