Well, after years of being a Jeep fanatic, I traded in my trusted and trail abused 95 Grand Cherokee on a 99 Blazer 4wd  4 door. (I've got three kids, so I still needed something to haul them around in now and again.)  I've dropped enough time and money into building and maintaining a trail rig, so I've decided not to build the Blazer into one.  My girl was pretty happy about that until I started looking for custom parts on Ebay like black bumper lights and black taillights.  The blazer is black with black interior and I really like the idea of blacking everything out.  I  haven't decided if I want to keep it the stock height, drop it 2/3, or raise it 2.  All depends on $$.  I'm also working on upgrading the stereo system.  Need to lose the stock 6.5s in all the doors and whatever is in the dash.  Spent today ripping out the stock HU and the cheesy 10 disc Prestige CD changer and installing a JVC HU that was in my Jeep.  Eventually I'll upgrade to a new HU as well...possibly a Kenwood or Pioneer...I need to do some research.  Basically I want a decent set-up without spending too much money.

At any rate, I just wanted to say hi and I look forward to getting to know the crew around here.
