i've noticed something wierd about this forum , it doesn't have any info about mobile security. Why is that?

It might be because a lot of the people here live in low theft areas so its not necessary? I have the Automate AM9 in my truck... great alarm. I also live in Staten Island, NY so I know its a definite to have an alarm installed. I would think that it could be posted or "added" to the Audio section since they sort of go hand in hand....

Yup I live in a pretty low thefty area. Though I would consider putting an alarm in if it was extremly loud when it went off. And by extreme I mean I want the person try to rob my car have their ears bleed if they want my stuff

With the Automate AM9 the remote that comes with it beeps very loud to let you know that the alarm is going off. so when I go to sleep at night I usually leave that on my night table. Ya never know!

i just orderded a alarm with keyless entry off ebay for like $12. comes with a 125 db siren. its pretty nice and i got a steal on it.

damn my alarm was $800.. Its the UNGO SR2000. Great system with remote start, like 4 different sensors and all kinds of goodies

hahaha... nice. i have remote start and a bunch of "goodies" but I didnt pay that much for it!! i just like that the remote can tell me if the car's alarm is going off. i dont care how loud the alarm is, they can cut the sirens and crap... i wont hear it in my house... but i will hear this!
