Best snow pics of the season - Page 2

Well, here we go again! The first thing I thought of when I looked out the window this morning was, ok time to lock in the hubs and go play.
The next thing I thought of was that the 3 hour drive down to Seattle Sunday morning might take a while longer.
I was just listening to the news and I hear that the inflatable roof on our BC Place football stadium is collapsing from the weight of the wet snow.
Sorry, no spectacular pic today.......yet.

For you moonie, I would if I could....this will probably melt within a couple of days. 2 days ago I was out walking around in a t shirt.

-------how do yall get snow! not fair! i live in western carolina and we barely even got frost. heck christmas day it rained! yesterday it was 70 degrees. so not fair.

We have been getting some crazy weather patterns here in Vancouver as of late. Snow is expected once again..

Thats funny.  The weather guy said we had a very small chance of flurries yesterday, we ent up getting 4-5 inches in about an hour.  I had a lot of fun driving home from work.  

Well, it did snow last night, and the highways are in havoc because people are idiots and forget how to drive when there's a, what I would call, dusting of snow. I'll take a pic before it all melts. It isn't anything spectacular, but it's exciting since we haven't had any yet!

So here it is, Wednesday, just in time for me to go back to work.....Can you guess which vehicle I'll be taking to work today?

I was going to say the one in the garage.

I offer my apologies to those of you that have not recieved your fair share of the white fluffy stuff. I also apologize for the poor quality pics, due to poor light conditions. This mornings pic was taken about 7:00am ( posted earlier) and this pic was taken about 7:30 pm. It did snow most of the day and the weather is supposed to stay below freezing for at least a week.
Getting to work and back home was crazy. I purposely tooka route home that leads up a fairly good hill and is about 1 mile to the top, thinking that people would be avoiding the hill and I would have a clear drive..........NOT.
So I guess it's pretty much all ice under the snow and sure enough 1/2 way up the hill, right beside each other are 2 cars that cannot move. After waiting 5 minutes, I turn left, drove up and over the median, up the hill past these cars and crossed the median back to my own side of the road.
I took another picture of my driveway tonight in the dark.....sorry moonie..

Keep it over there, damn.  Its coming down again but not nearly as much as that.

Yeah really! Getting some in Vic too....and no one knows how to drive in it, and here is me out in my car with 18's and low pro's going to work 

I'll post the pics of what I got yesterday once I get em downloaded later...and prepare for a good laugh.

OK, so this is the embarassing amount we got yesterday.

This one is of the poor ol' Blaze having seen cleaner and less rusty days...


And this one is a shot of the tree on our front yard. It almost blends in withthe snow, eh?  Ya, sure it does. Don't mind the eyesore of a fence in the background. I'd love to bulldoze that house and fence out of the way. It brings our neighbourhood's property value down, I'm sure!

Ha.  I think we got more than that yesterday, but I don't have any pictures to prove it and when I get out of work, it'll all be gone...

Yep, pretty pathetic, eh?

haha. we have more than that and half of it melted in the last 2 days.  Although now it will be around for a while, since our high today was +1 F.

Time to dig out the cars.
Well it's been a week now and the temp has remained below freezing so I decided to dig out the cars today, ( and post more pics to upset poor moonie).
I took a close up of the snow on the roof of my car 'cause the crystals look so cool.
Do you think I cleared the windshiel enough for good visibility, or should I remove just a little more snow?

We had snow last night which turned to freezing rain in the early morning, so we have a nice skating rink throughout the region now. I luckily don't have to work.

here's a pic of the little snow we got in chicago. i know it's nothig, but it was enough to get out and take pics of my blazer and my buddies' jimmy
