Well, I had a vinyl decal made up for my Bravada.

Reads:
BlazerForum.com

Got mine made up to match the pewter pin stripe on my Bravada. IIRC, I had mine made up to be 23" long and one for each rear side window.

I'll get some pics of the decals tonight. They won't be installed primarily because I have to wait until it's atleast 60*F outside to do so.

Anyway, I'll be getting a volume price here in a bit if anyone is interested. Post here! Will also take some input on how to make it better.

That's funny, because my girlfriend was just talking to me about me designing some for her Jeep club, and maybe some for BF. I'll find out whattheir volume price would be as well and I could get them done up for the Canadian members or something.

I was quoted $15 shipped to anywhere in the USA in any color but reflectives.

I would be interested in some if they get made. Should do the big ones and some smaller ones too. I was thinking about making some decals this summer, I know a guy at home who does custom signs and decals.
edit: $15 seems a little pricey, but for 23" long shipped, that might be about right. Most decals are usually $5-10 shipped. Who did you get the quote from?

Did you get any pics yet?

Here is what I am considering getting done...one of these, anyway.

Which one do you guys like?

I like them! It's way too cold out to put mine on still, but I promise I'll get some pictures of the decals themselves tonight.

The problem with those is that the letters for "Chevy Blazer Forum" would be quite small. You may end up inadvertantly pulling off the lettering when cleaning your windows. I have to be very careful with the decals that I had made for my Bonneville -Calvin pissin' on fire- because of how small the decal ended up being in places.

I do agree that the chevy symbol needs to be gold, but that sorta limits the choices for other colors - don't want to clash now. LOL.

Well, here's the pics of mine. Sorry for the flash on the computer screen...

Also was mistaken on the length. Not 23"... That's what I wanted, but the pewter vinyl wasn't that wide. It's about 14" wide.

They look great! Where are you planning on putting them?

I was a bit concerned with the smaller lettering as well. I tried with the gold logo, but I just didn't like it. Of course, I might just go with the plain outlined one, depending on cost...it might be too much for them to put that gradient in there.

I'm still playing with the design...I'm debating a big one for teh back or two smaller ones for the side. I was also thinking of on the windshield in front of my rearview. Lots of people in my gf's Jeep club put there decals there and they look good.

I'm going to put them down low on the rear most side windows all the way to the back of the window.

Now for the bad news. I had looked at the color at night with the spot light off the front of the house on. They looked great in that light... Now in the daylight, I can see that the color is off a bit. The decals are a bit darker than the pin stripes which are pewter as well, but must have faded over time.

I feel like putting them on tonight, but I have to resist! It's still a bit too cold out to get them to stick well enough. Possibly tomorrow, but definitely Saturday. If it's still cool out Saturday, I'll pull it into the garage and heat up the glass with my little radiant heater.

The problem with putting any decal on the rear window is the rear wiper. You'd pretty much have to stop using the rear wiper to have a decal on the rear window unless it were small enough to have underneith or have it be above the wiper area.

You can put it on the back window. I had a club decal on the back window and always used the wipers. It actually made it stick alot better.

As you can see on the picture i used the wiper since the window is darker where the wipers go.

Well, the thing I see with the decal that you have is that it is rather large sections and decent sized lettering. If you were to go with anything smaller sectioned or with, say, flame tips, the wiper would get under and destroy the decal. It also depends on how you use your wiper. If you use it dry or just with a light coat of water on it, it'll do MUCH more damage than wet.

I have my star of life sticker in the lower corner.....I find the wipers don't do much to it.....just don't take an ice scraper in the winter to a decal....yikes!!! bye bye sticker......(I lost my favorite jerry-bear that way) suprisingly enough...this is the first vehicle that I haven't put a lot of anything on....well other than the pinstriping and paddler decal....

I wouldn't mind one to go across the top of the windshield.

swartlkk I have a Massive decal in my back window, but I was worried bout the same thing so I put it up higher than the wiper reaches.

if i buy those decals i might just debadge it and put the stickers where the badges were....i think that would look decent...although i dont have it in front of me to look at either...o yea...by the way get back to work slacker...haha jk gotta take breaks, best part about work. cant wait to c the pics

Definitely have to take breaks!

Anyway, without further delay:

Before anyone jumps on me about that last pic, yeah I know it's dirty and I'm f'n pissed about the fuel overflow. I made the store pay for a gallon of gas (even though no where near that much leaked out) because their nozzle was defective and it was leaking the entire time I was filling up the truck!
