Blazer Newbie!!

Hey Guys,

I'm a new Blazer owner from NY that came across a gem of a bargain. Turns out a friend of mine had a 1987 Chevy Blazer for sale. I need a car because the head gasket on my Firebird decided to take a dump on me on the freeway at 6AM on my way to work. So he tells me about this truck. He thinks its a 1992 4.3l Motor, but something is telling me it's a 1996 or better due to the Vortec name on the Intake, and it's a CFI motor. Anybody know what years the S-10 came with the 4.3L CFI V6?
