bah!!!! 40% more compared to what??? a kia?? well duh!!! I do think the add is pretty funny though...poor little blazer.....
mine checks out pretty good....just no rollover rating
http://www.safercar.gov/Index2.cfm I have concerns for their rating system....side impact crashes that won't damage the chest? that's funny...because most cars on side impact will protect your chest....your pelvis...femurs..and head....now that's a whole other story...I'd like to see the ratings for that!

Ah, I think it's funny. Just because anyone can make statistics say what they want to say. You have to be going pretty darn fast and be pretty darn outr of control to roll over ANYTHING...

I recall reading several years ago that the 2 door blazer was involved in more roll-over accidents than any other vehicle ever made. I don't know if that study included the fact that they are the most heavily produced midsize SUV or not though.

But I've seen more blue ovals that run without costing loads of $$$'s than bowties, I guess its personal experience. Ford Bronco IIs have a reputation of flipping, but they're pretty similar to the S-10.

I remember the firestone thing a few years ago. I was a little young when it happened. (I'm only 21). But I remember it was pretty bad. I like Ford Explorers a lot, and Firestone Destination A/Ts are really awesome tires. So, I guess that makes me crazy. You know the theory has been advanced once or twice.

I too was young (i'm only 18) and i remember seeing a two door explorer on it's roof on the side of the highway once. I've also seen three semi's on their sides or roofs. yikes.

As with anything else it is all in the way the vehicle is driven
