Looks like you've done a bunch of nice work! What kind of boost are you putting through that plastic upper intake?
Does the crane fireball system give you some pretty decent control of the spark advance, does the computer complain about it and which model do you have? I have been thinking about getting a multiple spark discharge ignition system myself.

Go to the next page on that website. At first I was thinking, "what was he thinking just leaving that plastic upper intake on?!" So then I went to the next page. That is a sweet Blazer, that was put together the right way. That pic you looked at on the first page looked like a before-supercharger pic. On the next page you will see more pics of under the hood with the supercharger and all.

Nope... I looked too and the plastic upper intake plenum (between the TB and the aluminum lower intake) is still there. You really can't push much boost without pushing out the factory MAP sensor which is just pressed in. Plus, I don't know how much boost a stock bottom end (with 9.5:1 compression) can handle either. Should still be fun to drive, but for the cost, a v8 conversion could be done.
And I hope that the air filter is isolated from engine heat because that compressor will add quite a bit of heat into the intake charge on its own. That could cause some serious knock that would be very bad.

Where do I begin? I run 8-9 lb of boost, The stock intake manifold is holding up nicely for now. I have been searching for a aluminum manifold that accepts the current throttle body(I have a ported 78MM), problem is no one makes one! Plenty for a carb or tbi setup but none for our setup.
The truck is fun to drive ,but only on the highway, in any kind of a traffic jam or city driving, it SUCKS! The front lifts with the slightest touch of the pedal and it jumps from a full stop. The stopping distance of the brake system is phenomanal!! It will put you right through the windshield!! This is what you should think of if you go the performance route. Street drivability or all out performance. I chose all out.
I run SRP forged pistons, Eagle Hbeam rods, full rockers 1.6, Comp cams cam shaft, Fully worked polished and ported Vortec heads with 2.02 int and 1.6 exh, Beehive valve springs, JBA headers ceramic coated, High flow cat, JBA Evol 3" exhaust, Crane IS6 ignition, Crane retard mod, Twin fuel pumps (intank and inline), Vortech FMU, Accel 48000 volt coil, Accel 8.8 wires, There is a lot more !! I just have to remember. All lighting is L.E.D, Shocks are oil filled and nitrogen, And the Supercharger is a V2SQ Vortech, Stainless steel brake lines, Kevlar/Ceramic brake pads, Drilled and slotted rotors, Graniteli MAF sensor, Cold air intake (engine heat is blocked, draws air from the headlight area) ,Optima red top batt, All fluid is synthetic with the exception of water, this means all of the oil anywhere also.
Top speed restriction removed, BF Goodrich Z rated tires, 18" Eagle rims, one day I will get a total list of everything that is done to this Blazer, But that is what I can remember for now.

No pictures with the engine apart?
Anyway, you may want to look into the marine application intake manifold for the 4.3L motor. Don't know exactly what else will be necessary, but it may be exactly what you are looking for. I can't seem to find them anymore, but I had found a few sites that had pictures of the marine application SCFI 4.3L motor with what looked like an aluminum upper intake plenum exactly like the plastic one on the automotive application engines.

Thanks I'll check that out. I just added a few new pic's. I will find the pic's of the build up and the dyno runs, along with sound clips. Just have to find them.

It' just a billet tip that fits over the exsisting shifter, and believe it or not ,it came off of Ebay! The climate control knobs are also billet and also were found on ebay.
Thanks! I put a lot of work into this.
I like the fact that other people appreciate the Blazer as much as I do! Our Blazers are nice, they can be fast, they can go through snow like nothing else, (I tried to get it stuck in snow drifts and it just drove right out)! . They break , and we can fix them. (Knock on wood). We really have a great vehicle!!
And last but not least, they have been known to smoke a few ( by few I mean a lot) of Mustangs (the good ones) , a few high performance cars (No names given, GM will be all that I say) , Big muffler sub compacts ( no effort requiered), Purpose Built trucks (factory models) again no names.
Our little 4.3 v6 is a Mutha!!!
Beating a high dollar sports car, GOOD!
Doing it with a Blazer, GREAT!!
The look on there face after finding out they were embarrased by a V6 Blazer 4x4 , PRICELESS!!!!!!

All that shiny and you can sometimes overlook some things, I was almost certain that plastic upper intake was replaced with another shiny shiny. but, of course, i now see. Still a great truck though. heck, all blazers are great trucks

Sorry been away for awhile, The brake rotors were about two hundred, the brake lines were about $150, the pads about $80, Not a bad price for the overall braking improvement!!
Just make sure that you change your brake fluid!!
