Blazers are not for drifting

Haha this is rediculous..anyone with a driver's license can recognize that intentionally making a 5000 lb SUV go sideways in any situation is dangerous behavior.
Attack the argument, not the person.

A "j/k" clears up a lot of confusion.

Ok offroaders, I get the point that you don't like us lowered guys LOL!!! It's all good , but hey I can say this, I would rather be lower to the ground sliding around in my blaze then lifted sliding with all that body roll you have that I don't!!

All in all we both have blazers and they are awesome either way you go with it!!

Got no problem with you lowered folks
Just with your statement that you HAVE to be lowered to drift ;)
Body roll just adds to the adrenaline rush! lol.
Guaranteed, you can do the corners faster on a lowered rig... Or at least with low-pros, lol. I wouldn't want to drift on pavement with mine.

The only time I've ever actually drifted and meant to was on a go-kart lol
I gotta get new tires soon. Granted, I think that's more due to when I was stuck in the mud and couldn't get out but was too retarded to stop trying.
THIS is why I wanted 4wd. If the thing wasn't just 2wd I coulda made it out

lol agreed i took my buddy out once for doughnuts in a snow covered empty lot and he thought we were gunna flip over cuz of the body rolls lol i was like naww just added effect lol.
and lifted blazers can drift too they just need wider tires so that its not as easy to flip lol

Wider tires aren't necessarily good either since they have more area to catch dry pavement causing rolls. However I have no problem lowered or lifted. Mine is stock height and I would like to go higher but dont want to spend the money or deal with the problems that usually accompany lifting. I like the looks of lowered blazers, I just need 4x4 and as much ground clearance as I can reasonably get, since I drive thru snow a lot and also parking up on snow piles occasionally.

wider tires doesnt mean better stance...
I almost fliped when i put my new rims on with 4.25" BS
The same ramp I use to go onto the thruway, I usuallu hit the turn at about 45 with my stock rims...
got my new rims on and I was on two wheels! (scary moment!) Now I gotta take it at 35-40 or Im tipping over
So remember wider tires doesnt mean a less possibility to roll!!!

Any chance of a coincidence with your lift? I noticed decreased body roll when I put on my 4.5'' BS rims. She felt all around more stable...but might just be me

Maybe...my back end is 2 inchs higher and the front end is like 1/2 inch higher...

Since I put on the wider tires, mine rolls less. Haven't REALLY tried to drift, but there's this one S-curve I can hit much faster than I used to.

If you put tires with more sidewall, you're not gaining much in the way of cornering performance, even with a wider stance...

thats bad, good to hear you are ok, i know most of the road in your parts and they are not for speeding, defiantely in the rain, ihave a few friends that have wrecked on the lower east valley road, one died from it, he wrecked just north of hwy 111,

oh yeah. lots of wrecks out here. A friend of mine died on his way from school a couple years ago driving in the rain. Josh Fiske. So sad......
East Valley is just plain old dangerous anyway. Bunch of testosterone happy boys made it their racing area at night when they think the cops are all asleep.
I don't even know the name of the road I was on....I'd have to ask Cody, he'd know. But it was in some newer area...hidden ridge estates or something like that

there are a lot of back road drag strips down on the south side of town that people have wrecked on too, i have witnessed a few.

yeah....i've heard about a lot of stuff like that. My dad was the one answering the calls for awhile. You'd think they'd learn to buff security up there eventually
Oh, but wait....that would mean the force would actually have to get off their butts and DO something lol

lol, the few i know that work there (if they still do)would not do that, they would quit,

Blazers should only drift with the roads fairly wet or on dry dirt.
Normal dry asphalt roads will produce too much traction causing the blazer to roll over.
See the popular film 'Virtuosity'. Parker's futuristic vehicle of choice was a 1995 Blazer. Notice how wet the roads are, and it never rained the entire film.
