i just bought a 89 blazer (v10) and i'm trying to get the heater to work. the fan doesn't turn on so i'm trouble shooting. everything is in order except for the fact that there is a single wire that is not connected to anything. does anyone have a wiring diagram of the blower motor? if it helps the wire is red and its the thickest one in the cluster of wires connected to the back of the motor.
and another thing, anyone know how to disassemble the rear window crank? cant ge t the tailgate down unless the window is first but the crank spins and does nothing.

i take that back, the wire is purple.

Connect the purple (power) wire, to the metal (tab) connection on the heater motor the first pic shows the purple (power) wire connected
The second pic shows the blower motor relay (below) and the resistor (above)
