The Scytek has negative door locks, so you will need relays.  But either will work.

For a basic alarm with Keyless you are going to have to splice into 12+, IGN, GND, Door Lock wire, Door trigger Wire, Hood pin(optional), Run a siren, mount your shock sensor, and a few other things...

You will have to take apart the dash bezel, the dash underbelly(two pieces), and kick panel all on the drivers side. There is a steel column shroud under the dash belly that you will have to unbolt as well...

hmm what about the remote start? how difficult? I finally have a good solder gun instead of the old crapy one i had, so that should help out. Im hoping to get it installed in a day or so

Oh, I didnt realize you purchased a remote start alarm. Remote starts can be very difficult if you havent done one before. You will need a Bypass module yo bypass the factory security system so the vehicle can start without a key in the ignition. The one you need should be a 555LW from DEI...As far as wiring goes it can be very frustrating and time consuming. If you have never done a remote start before leave yourself about a 5 hour window and a 12 pack of corona to vent when you are finally done...I wouldnt reccomend installing a remote start if you havent done one before, but if you do decide to attempt it just get a wiring sheet from Hillbilly or someone and try to figure it out...

Its not too bad. I taught Xblazer how to do a remote start over AIM.  Let me know.  I can give ya my phone number or aim and we can knock it out.
