Ok I really dont know what to do anymore.
Some family gave my cell number out thinking it was theres!
I'm getting calls from companies ranging from Verizon to comcast to johns hopkins hospital!
WTF! I've told these people each time they call that I am not Micheal or Molly Dempsey!
I also said. That if they call me back again I am turning they're companies in to the attorney general! and I'm STILL getting calls! I just got one from apple lincoln mercury a min ago!
This needs to end! please tell me how to get these stupid companies to stop calling. Also is there anything I can do to the dempsey's? All I really want is the damnc alls to STOP!

Just got another damn call from a beauty parlor for molly. this is effin annoying now! I told the lady who called if you see her tell her that her and her husband are giving out the wrong numbers.
I just cant have this. This is like my business number! I cant have random people keep calling me wasting my minuets on this crap!

that sucks dude. a friend of my brothers put my brothers cell number on myspace and his phone rang all the time for like a week and a half.

I would try to find some way to get it blocked. Maybe start calling the numbers that are calling you. Just keep calling them and tell them not to call your number. Or, ask Mitchell Shanahanagan. That'll make them stop.

Man that sucks. I'd get in touch with the people giving out your number. Then call each number that is calling you and write down who you are speaking with, explain the situation (type up a form letter so it's always the same), and request that they don't call you again. Document the time and date that you requested that they not call you, and if they call again, inform them that if they call again, you will be speaking with a lawyer and that you have documented that you requested that they not call this number again.

Please, no one else call. I searched in Maryland since I believe that is where you are from and assume they are too. There was another Michael Dempsey, but his wife's name was not Molly. This one did not have a wife's name.

Not a problem. I actually thought about that afterwards and was planning to remove the info anyway.

If these people have a similar number, I would assume that they have the same cell phone carrier (at least if they have the first three digits correct) since those numbers are assigned to each carrier, just like they are for cities. So maybe you could contact the carrier, ask them to check for a customer with that name and explain to them what's going on and see if THEY could contact this family and ask them to please give out the right number!! If they were all bill collectors calling I would assume that they had done this on purpose, but I doubt that the beauty parlor gives credit...LOL
