code p0300 misfire... maybe I will replace camshaftsensor. I saw it the other day when i replaced cap and rotor. I guess i loosen that bolt to raise up whatever  andreplacce sensor ? right? just dont turn anything!! I changed plugs cap and rotor  so maybe I should have done sensor while there but then I would have never known then. maybe now I will  learn something to help out someone else !!starts good but runs really rough. By the way just purchase code reader forall vehicles

Why would a P0300 random misfire code lead you to a faulty camshaft position sensor?  Is there a specific code pointing at the CMP sensor?  You don't just replace the CMP sensor unless you have specific information pointing towards it being a problem.

Did you replace the plug wires?  Blazerboy30 had the same prob and found it to be a loose #3 plug connection!

Yep...but now my SES light came on. Got it scanned and still has the random/multiple misfire code? My blazers running great now..no miss or anything. I still have the high RPM"S though!!

I don't know why I didn't catch this sooner, but I'm cleaning this up now.
