Please note this is related to those with the floor shifter only.
If you cannot get it to shift past 4high and the button on top of the shifter will not press in...take your hand and grip the shifter really tight and twist it and push down on it. That should solve your problem...
Sometimes when you pull the handle back you may be pulling it up some as well...and over time it will work its way up to where when you press in the button, it does not go all the way down to release the lock so that you are able to pull it back into 4low.
I hope this helps someone before they did like I did and thought it was something serious. Its worth a shot.
