Does anyone know an easy route for running a power wire, I looked high and low for a place in the engine bay that might have a rubber sealed hole into and through the firewall. Didnt find any. Then I went to the back of the Blazer(2005 btw) and under the plastic dressing the covers part of the carpet,is a larger oval hole in the steel body with wiring clips in it. Under that is a plasticy rubber seal ( what I was looking for in the engine bay). So I tried running it through there and to the battery but it was not long enough.
So does anybody know specifically a spot in the engine bay to put the power wire through into the cabin?

if those didn''t help on my 97 there is a big grommet on the drive side i believe its for the hood release. and on the passenger side there is another at the bottom right where the carpet ends. not sure what that''s for.. i ran 2 runs of 2 gauge through both and that should be plenty for what ever your doing :)

Yah I found the whole, my set up it complete. Nice and clean, Ill take pictures tomorrow and post them. I managed to fit my amp behind my spare tire inside the truck. No wires, no indication of where the amp is, just lots of bass. I love it. And having a shallow mounting 12" Pioneer sub its awesome!!

You used the hole pictured in the other post? The one on the passengers side floor?

"Cant find the magic hole" - Ask your woman to show you where it is and guide you through it. Only way to learn is to have someone teach you. HAHA sorry, couldnt resist.
