what will it do? nothing more than suck more power from your charging system hence making it less effecient.

If you like 10lbs paper weights than a capacitor is definately what you need

But seriously, a capacitor is a band-aid on a bullet wound. It will stop the bleeding momentarily but eventually youre gonna die. Better alternatives to capacitors are upgrading and adding batteries, upgrading you factory battery wiring to a higher gauge, or if things get really sticky, a high output alternator...

But, the fact is you need none of these things because your factory alternator and charging system will have no problem keeping up with the 500 watts your Boss amp will dish out...

they said it would make it louder like a second battery or something, casue one guy had one said it was worth it but im not sure,i should be uprading to an optima battery soon as well, my current one always is about 12-14 constant(in that area)

your boss amp will never actually produce what it is rated for so there is no need for you to worry about your electrical. Only add a capacitor to your system after upgrading the big 3, your alternator, and your battery. Only then will it actually have a chance to help.
