I don't see any where on the female part of the drain where the drain cock pin would pass through to get into the cam area where it is suppose to be to work on the pricipal of it's operation. Frankly, I think the damn thing sucks out loud and is a very cheesy setup. I would like to put in the usual brass threaded twist type but see no way to do this. This the sucker is plastic anyway, isn't it?
At any rate, can anyone tell me or better yet has anyone done this replacement before? Also, can it be do easy enough WITHOUT taking the radiator out of the vehicle?
The one that I have just spins and I don't really see the pin anymore. Don't know for sure what happened to it. I have purchased a new drain cock but want some direction first before I do this... so I am here in hopes of finding that.
Thanks in advance

Sorry, no help here. I quit messing qwith radiator drains about 1971. Thats the last time one gave me trouble too. If its closed, leave it. Remove bottom hose for your water removal work.
If it leaks and no-one can help you here, slip a short piece of hose with a bolt in the end of it with a clamp over it and also clamp the fitting. Get er done. Got to be a better way???????????????? NAW.
Of course, I dont even know what the new ones look like, thats how much I care. I dont even want to see them.
