So, i have a 2000 Blazer with a 4.3, and a code reader and I keep deleting a code that pops up almost every single day that reports a "misfire in cylinder 1". It's always in cylinder 1. Now, I've replaced all the plugs and wires as well, and I still get this code popping up almost everyday. I've noticed the check engine light seems to come on when I'm getting on the highway or accelerating hard through 2nd or 3rd gear. I also tried dumping 2 bottles of fuel system cleaner through the gas because someone told me it may be carbon buildup on the valves and they're not seating correctly (116K miles). Is there anything else I can try?

injector? could be a sticking lifter. we had a car come in that a cam lobe was worn.

Well, it may have been an injector or a sticky valve that wasn't seating right. . . whatever it was was nothing that 3 bottles of concentrated injector cleaner couldn't tackle!

Light hasn't turned on since. .. thanks for the tips though

I guess I spoke too soon. . . light turned on again yesterday. . . any idea how much fuel injectors run? can you buy just 1or do you have to buy the set on the vortec motors?
