I have a 1991 blazer with the 6cyl engine, It has appeared to develope a chugging/missing near the drivers side when its ideling. Could this just be because of the super crappy exaust system on it? Im almost sure it has a leak. Also I just did a tune up and gave it new wires and plugs. Thanks for your help.

how did the spark plugs look? was the driver side fouled out? if so and ur getting other symptoms such as worse fuel milage and smell of sulfur (rotten eggs) from the tail pipe then it is probably an internal fuel leak in the plenum. its not that hard to remove the upper plenum and check.

you''ve got a 91, right?  Eight digit of the vin z?  If so, doubt that you''ve got a plenum issue as you haven''t got one one that tbi engine.  Fix exhaust-full tune-up, ie if not done-wires, fuel filter, air cleaner, good quality wire set, the plugs, cap and rotor and a pcv valve.  Only gonna help-atleast gas mileage.  JP
