Anyone know how to do a CKP learn procedure without a scan tool. I know I read it on one forum but my computer crashed and I lost all my files. I used the search on this site but no find.

This is what I turned up. I have NEVER seen this procedure documented in an GM material that I have at my disposal. I do not know if this procedure actually properly calibrates the new CKP sensor or not.
GM Tech RELEARN PROCEDURE We haven't seen that much of a concern here at BlazerForum.com over this, but I am a part of many other GM forums. Many other GM vehicles have a large market for PCM programming which can require a CASE learn. This is a growing concern among many other car enthusiasts as there is no truely economical way to perform this. This procedure was posted on another site and has NOT been verified by anyone. Some say it has seemed to stop the reoccuring CEL typically associated with an uncalibrated CKP sensor, but have no long term results on the validity.
