Cloverfield..

Since these threads are getting heated Hate it/Love it responses from everyone on almost all my other boards I figured I would throw it on here to see who has seen it.  I had been looking forward to this since the first previews before Transformers opening day.  Watched it last night and Loved it.  The first person shooting of this movie was awesome!  The development and overall style worked great for me.  Of course the camera shaking didn't bother me so some hated it mainly because they got sick, but overall I felt really sucked into the dilemma of the characters.

haha, yeah.. aside from having the worst headache ever when i left the theater.. i thought it was pretty awesome.. 

It seems like it will be a pretty awesome movie, but I havent seen it yet. I have heard some of the same things as were mentioned with the bourne series of the first person camera and shaky cam filiming. Personally I like it cause it makes you feel more involved in the movie, but I could see why some people might get sick from it. I think I will plan on watching the movie this weekend.

seems liek it would be a sweet movie, still don get the whole story line yet tho but i did hear some bad reviews about the cameras lol, my friend john said he walked out after a half hour, didnt even watn to finish the movie, and john never walks out.

ya it was a really good movie i saw it and its kinda like a godzilla/alien vs preditor sorta thing goin on i liked the camera but sometimes it could been kept a lil more still cuz u couldnt really see what was goin on. but ya over all i thought the movie was really good cept the ending was a let down i wont give it away tho but i will say i was disappointed in the ending

I watched it at midnight on Friday because a theater around here was having a special screening. I've been followng the viral campaign that's been going on since the teaser came out. The movie left so many questions unanswered, but I loved it. I was fine with the camera, but my girlfriend got nauseous. It's defintely one of my favorite movies now and I look forward to seeing how the backstory develops.

no it was another monster some weird thing the movie doesnt say at all how it got there or anything so i'm hopin for another cloverfield to follow to be a sequal or a prequal so we get some more info cuz it was a good movie it just left me hangin w/ more questions than i came in w/ lol i loved how good the graphics and other stuff was in the movie there were like 1 or 2 parts tho that just looked sooo fake but otherwise it was very well done.
