contribute

today when i logged on here a page popped up asking for a donation. thought about doing it, but not sure who or what it goes for.i also noticed that very few people have done it, i have bbeen on here for about a year now and thats the first time i have seen anything about it.  anybody know what s up or seen this page?

The link says it all.  I'm gonna guess that the funds go to the operator of the site (Automotiveforums.com).  They don't go to any one person specifically like Kyle or Pat.  And judging by the short list of contributors, Blazerforum doesn't make a killing off of it either.

I have been thinking about making a contribution as well didn't know that info till you said something about it!!!

well I'm sure a lot of people contribute...but don't want a sticky on their profile..

Kyle's always there to answer the special questions!!! Also all the one's that got me scratching my head!!

Contributions go to paying for the domain, upgrading, and updating the forum. At least thats what I was told by engine2 out on the Chevroletforum.  You also get upgraded member status, which is just basically having a banner under your avatar telling everyone you contributed...
