Crazy Night in Canton

Well, me and some buddies went out for the night.  About 1:30 (since I decided halfway through the night that I was DD) I went to the strip club that they were at to pick them up to take them home.  Me and my buddy were hangin out in my truck in the parking lot and my other freinds came out running after another guy.  Not sure what acutally happened, but I jump out of my truck to grab a hold of my buddy and the kids that were running jump into their car and floor it towards our group.  I jumped out of the waybut sorta got clipped by the guys car(just enough to make me stumble) and the guy kept going and slammed into my friend who was just in the truck with me. 

Cops somehow showed up at the same time all this was happening.  They tore off down the road after we started screaming at them that they hit our friend. 

At the end of the night, we have a driver who will be charged with DUI, hit-skip and felonious assault, and having a loaded shotgun in his trunk, and a buddy with some bruises and a strange story!!


Buddy only has some scrapes and cuts and some bruises. Didnt get home from the hospital until 630 this morning!

Glad your buddy and you weren't seriously injured. I'm so glad I outgrew that type nonsense long ago. Alcohol overload makes people do such foolish stuff.

The strangest thing is, neither one of us was involved and i almost get hit and he does.  Im just still dumb-founded that my buddy got hit by a car.  He has had a few beers and I had had two about 4 hours ago. 

But the best part is, the guy got arrested, woulda been a shame if the cops werent there, because we would have gone after them, and that never ends well

Man that's scary! What a world we live in.
Last night I went to a hockey game, just parked the car and a car pulls up to me and the driver rolls down his window.
 There are 3 brown guys in the car. The first thing the guy says to me is that they are not looking for a fight, just need directions.
There's really something wrong when you have to start a conversation like that. Unfortunately we have gang problems in our city, (as many cities do), and many times there are groups that will cruise just looking for trouble.  

Wow what a crazy night. Glad you guys are alright, and that the idiot got what he deserved from the cops.

That sucks. I am glad I live in 2 safe places. That is just stupid to cruise around looking for trouble.

I am glad that you are ok and your buddy is ok as well!!! Chevylover one question for you do you own a bullet proof vest for the next game you attend???? I just know im in one of the worst cities to call safe, LOL I live in phx were the heat gets to people and the shooting begins it sucks!!

wow dang ya thats crazy stuff!! and so close! i'm glad i live out in the country side  i just have to go in downtown milwaukee for school but the downtown area isnt bad lotta business people its on the out skirts of downtown where it gets bad and i'm glad i take the hwy to school so i dont have to drive thru those parts

Also Canton Ohio eh...I went there a few times when I was at Kent State.

Glad you guys are OK. I'm surprised the cops were there that fast too. Thats not the best nieghborhood anyway.

off to court today.  I got my subpoena as a grand jury witness.  should be a blast.

lived with 6 at one time, and then one and her sister.  Im good on that for a while
