I own a 1988 s10 blazer. It is a 5spd with 4wd. It is a 2.8l efi 6cylinder. I was wondering if I could drop in a 1989 350 and if I could what other parts would have to be swapped out?

All 2.8L v6 engines are based off of a 60* cylinder angle between banks. The 4.3L v6 shares the 90* cylinder angle with the small blocks (inc. 350). Because of this, you would need to have a transmission with a bell housing compatible with the 90* block to use a 350. So you would need to have a transmission that originally came mated to a 4.3L inorder to do the swap.

Not to mention you will also need to deal with the radiaotr, motor mounts, exhaust manifolds, steering linkage, a/c box. If oyur serious about doing a V8 swap, searcht eh web for a company called JTR (Jags That Run). They sell a book specific on the V8 swap into the S10 trucks. Covers everything you want to know.
