Fantasy Football?

Anyone here a fan of fantasy football? I'm a huge fan and was considering creating a league if there were enough members here who are interested. If I can get at least 10 people I'll create a league on yahoo or something for free.

Sounds cool. I've never done it, but it wouldn't hurt anything to try. What is involved?

I've done it a few times on Yahoo and I think once on NFL.com. It basically requires keeping up w/all the stats of players/teams. Drafting a team and actually keeping up w/ it from week to week. I did this on a mustang forum a few years ago and only half of the guys actually did keep up and changed out their players and defenses and stuff. It did amount to wins for me, but was also quite frustrating at the same time!

Basically Fantasy Football involves drafting (either live or auto) your own squad of players and choosing who starts week to week. Usually you will go heads up vs another team in the league from week to week. The team who generates the most points wins that week. There are other variations on how leagues run but the kind I mentioned is the most popular and more importantly, my favorite style of play. I could get in depth on how scoring is typically but it's really not important as far as describing what fantasy football is.

my97fourXfour had it right, it is kind of annoying when people don't participate week in and out as it is a social/arm chair quarterback type of game.
