All I can say is it's about time us single with no children people..working hard to make ends meet... don't get screwed over by people who continue to procreate ...and continue to get rewarded for that...bah!!!!!!! anyways...don't get me started.....to each his own I suppose

Its not exactly cheap to raise kids you know.

what kills me is the social security taxes and health care taxes that they're taking out of my checks every week that I'll never get to see a single cent of. By the time I'm old enough to qualify to get any of it, the plan itself won't be there anymore. It just sucks

Yeah same boat for me, but I just ran a prelimanary run on my taxes and it looks like I should get back like 1700 dollars, which will be nice for school and maybe doing something to the blazer.

yeah I made 10,000 more than her...and only got 418 dollars back....go figure...

and [[B3k@h]]..I recognise it's expensive to raise kids...it's unfortunate that the medicaid..tax returns..even health insurance is geared toward families..or single people with children...it's easier in this country to not work..and give birth..than to have a job..trying to support yourself..and the rest of the population who finds it easier to mooch of society..than make a contribution...I don't blame all of it on them...it's partialy all our faults...but the system (and our society) is procreation orientated...there is not tax refund for NOT having children...wouldn't that be a better option? Helps with overpopulation..god forbid the green house dying environment crap...just some of the things that bug me.....(sorry long weekend at work being a taxi driver for medicaid patients)

I can deal with the different tax relief for different families, might not like it, but I can deal with it.

What pisses me off is when I see the new Tax Brackets for 2007 and realize that because I made a little more I will have to pay double in taxes effectively reducing how much I netted.  So not only is cost of living going up so fast it's hard to make more each year, I get a raise and now I make less then the years before just because I crossed over a line by a few hundred dollars.

Everyone should pay XX% and thats that.  If you make more, you will pay more, make less pay less, but you won't have to worry crossing over some line and getting screwed till you move up even higher.  I am all for relief to people in extenuating circumstances, but come on people!
