Hey Guys...
I finally broke down and bought an MP3 player. I got the new Sansa clip, 1GB. However... I was checking out some of my songs... and some of the files are HUGE compared to the others. For example, most of the songs I downloaded are between 3 and 5MB but all the songs I ripped onto my computer from a CD are like 10+MB. How do I downsize these files so it doesn't take up so much room on my MP3 player? I doubt I will even use 1GB's worth, but I would still like to downsize them to keep my hard drive a little clearer as well...
Any help??

You have to check what bit rate you are ripping the songs ate. From the size you mentioned I would guess that whatever program you are using to rip the music with, has defaulted to a 256kbps, to get a better size and still have good sound quality I would record at 128 thru 192 kbps. This should keep the files at the range of what you have downloaded.
It would be easier to tell you step by step if we knew what program you were using.
Hope this helps out.
