I have a '99 S10 Blazer that I have completely enjoyed since buying a year ago. Just a few days ago the front end started creaking kind of like what you would expect from a VERY old vehicle. It happens when I put the brakes on a little harder & let off, when I hit a bump, if a close my door a little hard - about any time there's much motion. My mechanic put it on the rack & said other than quite a bit of rust underneath he could not find anything wrong. He greased where he thought might help & sent me on my way. It did not help & it's driving me nuts. It's noisy over 50% of the time. Thanks for ANY ideas. Any way of making a rusty situation better or is this something not to worry about? The blazer spent it's early years in the North & I'm guessing that problem is from the salt, etc.
