Gas smell in A/C?

An odd thing ive noticed is that every so often when im running my A/C ill get a gasoline smell from the cold air. it usually only occurs when i idle or stop at a light/sign. I have no idea where to start, and i think i might be leaking gasoline from the engine compartment somewhere, but i have no clue. I can smell the gas, but i cant find a drip anywhere
