Hey guys, 97 Blazer, 159,000 miles. It has been doing this for a few years now only in the winter. It starts great initially but when i shut it off for a while and then try to restart it it's flooded, if I don't get in and put the accelerator to the floor it will barely start sometimes. Been a troublesome winter for her, had the fuel pump fail, found a hole rusted in the tank when I dropped it to do the pump and ended up replacing the tank. About a week or two after that it was loading up so bad at idle that it would begin to shake so I would pop it in neutral and keep the RPM's up to keep it running. Talked to the mech at work and he said fuel pressure regulator was likely the cause of loading up at idle AND my hard starting. Replaced the regulator and it runs fine now but my hard start issue has not gotten any better, what's left????? Replace the whole spider I'm guessing but hoping for something cheaper I guess. Any help appreciated.
