I was wondering if there was such a conversion kit that would change my 1997 Blazer LS 2 bulb(hi and low beam) composite into a one bulb system? I would really like to get rid of the system I have now, it's such a pain. I would like to change it to the 98+ style please tell me if this is at all

So wiring is the same on my Blazer as the newer ones and it's just the way it's all assembled? I just cant really buy anything for my Blazer headlights, corner lights, and bumber lights because she is such an oddball. If I buy the update kit and all the newer light housings then it's just the matter of moving bulbs? wiring all works the same?

Nice upgrade, but if you look at the parts list you can see that if you goto your local bone yard and get the same parts off a newer S-10 or like you can change it out yourself (most of the time for less pending on the prices the bone yard charges).
avg price for the parts:
Radiator support - 50
Grill - 35
Headlights - 85 per
Turn signals - 35 per
(pig tails / wire clips you can get for free if you go pull it yourself)
You could also change them over to the newer 2005 HEI headlight at this point.
most bone yards charge 5 per clip or 45 for the Headlight harness section.
The bolts/hardware you can get when pull or local hardware store.
I do local hardware store due to I like to upgrade them all to Grade 8's over the Grade 3 or 5's that are factory.
The only pain on this swap is the condenser and Power steering cooler. If you can not get it to move freely, you have to disconnect them. Then you end up having to recharge your A/C system, and would be a good time to drain out and refill your power steering fluid. Outside of that its not that hard of a job. Just make sure you keep track of where the bolts go when you remove your old one, and keep track of the shims for the fenders.
I am looking at either the 2000 Escalade or the 1999 Bravada front for my 95 S-10 Blazer.

Yeah, I'm thinking about three or four years down the road when I have my Trailblazer SS for a DD, I can park my blaze and put a 2004 Envoy front clip on her.

I just dont know if it's worth it. As of right now I think it's kinda unique. I havnt seen many like it and in my area none. I just wish there was a way to change out the corner lights on mine with out totally messing up the headlights. But hey who knows

yea, I have found that so far up to 05's you can switch them over. Its sad though, most say 95 to 97 only. This is why the coversion/mod chart is so empty for these models.
Heck the 2000 hoods are a direct fit with no mods needed. Guess it just takes some hunting to find what could interchange. The rest is just plane elbow greese and know how.
