Hi blazer folk. My name is Jesse. I live in amish country, specifically in Holmes County, Ohio. I have owned my 1996 Blazer 4x4 LS for 6 years, and have had a love/hate relationship with it. its just a stocker. no frills. since I bought it, I have replaced the starter, the alternator, the A/C compressor, the belt tensioner, the tranmission, and steering idler. some of that was typical, some of it is not. the rear wiper doesn't work, the dome lights pops on and off at random, the hood opens only when it wishes, and the check engine light comes on pretty frequently. all in all, its gotten me from point A to point B, and I must say that there is very little that 4 wheel drive can't get me out of. its ability on snow really impresses me the most I think I posted in the tech forum, but got no reply, maybe because I should have posted here first to introduce myself. sorry for being a little rude in that manner.

Welcome to the forum. I've had a love/hate relationship with just about every vehicle I've ever owned!
It does take us a little time to reply to questions sometimes and sometimes we're quick.
