Hello everyone, well first off a little about myself. Im a 20 year old marine tech in Eugene Oregon. Im recently new to the 4x4 world but not new to cars lol. some of my last cars consisted of a 90 H22 motor swaped Honda Accord, And then a 91Nissan 240sx that i had plans of turboing but later decided against (after buying a turbo kit) I now own a 99 Chevy Blazer LS 4x4 that i love and am looking forward to the snow season. hopefully i can learn some new stuff about the 4x4 world being im a newb to it and make some e-friends along the way lol. thanks alot!

We're a friendly bunch----------------most of the time. J/K Driving in the snow is one of my biggest thrills now that I have a 4x4. I remember last winter, we got a huge snow storm over night that dumped about 1 1/2 feet up here in CT. My dad and I went out to snoblow the driveway and my mom was wanting the morning paper (it was sunday). I couldn't find the paper under the snow, so I was pretty much begging to let me go and get a paper from the box a couple blocks away. I just wanted to barrel through the mound of soft snow at the end of my driveway and 4 wheel to the newspaper box. My mom insisted that she could do without a paper for a while, but then decided that she wanted one and I was all set to go 4 wheeling in the snow and then the car pulled up and dropped off the morning paper. I was so bummed. I went 4 wheeling anyway, but the snow was gone from the driveway by then.

welcome! i also a 4x4 in the snow. Small side story, coming home from work one morning (3rd) the road was completly covered and pretty much un driviable, but there was myself and one lone jeep cherokee. we met at a stop light and we both nodded like 'no one can touch us in the snow' haha love it.
